Inputs and formula
- Loaded hourly compensation = average loaded annual compensation ÷ 2,080.
- Cost per meeting = attendees × (meeting hours + preparation/follow-up hours) × loaded hourly compensation.
- Annual cost = cost per meeting × meetings per week × 52. The calculator also shows the result of cutting frequency in half.
Worked example
Six attendees at $110,000 loaded compensation, meeting for 45 minutes with one hour of preparation twice a week, consume roughly 296 hours each year.
