100 Integration Platforms (iPaaS) to Evaluate
Integration platform as a service (iPaaS) software connects applications, data sources, and business processes. For a solo founder or small team, that can mean moving new leads into a CRM, syncing orders with accounting software, routing support requests, or handing structured context to AI employees.
There is no universally best platform. A tool that suits a marketing-led startup may be a poor fit for a regulated company, a developer platform, or a business running electronic data interchange (EDI). The 100 products below are not a ranking. They are a categorized evaluation list spanning conventional iPaaS tools and closely related workflow, data, API, and embedded-integration platforms.

How to narrow the list
Start with the systems that matter most, rather than a long catalogue of available connectors. List the source of truth for customers, revenue, product data, support, and internal knowledge. Then document the events that should trigger work and the records that need to be created or updated. This exercise reveals whether you need simple application automation, bidirectional synchronization, event-driven orchestration, data pipelines, or formal EDI.
Next, assess operational fit. Nontechnical teams may prefer visual workflow builders and managed connectors. Engineering-heavy teams may prioritize code, version control, testing, self-hosting, reusable components, and API flexibility. Larger organizations may need environment separation, audit records, access controls, error handling, and approval paths. These requirements can matter more than the number of integrations shown in a marketplace.
A useful evaluation starts with a real workflow: define the trigger, the data transformed, the destination action, the failure path, the owner, and how success will be checked.
Integration design for AI-assisted companies
AI employees and automated teams are more useful when they receive current, scoped information and produce traceable actions. An integration layer can supply context from a CRM, project tracker, inbox, knowledge base, or analytics system. It can also route an AI-generated draft into a review queue rather than directly changing a customer-facing record.
That distinction is important. Begin with read-oriented workflows and reversible actions, add human approval where consequences are meaningful, and log what entered and left each workflow. Clear ownership, least-privilege access, and monitoring for failed runs help keep automation dependable as a company adds more systems and agents.
