New Citrone and Hickok Schools Established at Hampden-Sydney College
Hampden-Sydney College is expanding its academic structure with two new schools focused on business, economics, government, history and civic leadership.
The Virginia college said the Citrone School of Business and Economics and the Hickok School of Government, History, and Civic Leadership were established through gifts from alumni families. The college did not disclose gift amounts in the information provided.
The Citrone school will encompass business and economics studies, while the Hickok school is intended to bring together programs related to government, history and civic leadership.
Hampden-Sydney said the new schools reflect support from alumni donors and are intended to strengthen the institution’s academic offerings in fields tied to business and public life.
