EXCLUSIVE: Following Anthropic's AI agent warnings, Airrived launches the enterprise control plane to enforce AI guardrails
Businesses deploying autonomous AI agents will be able to track agent permissions, data access and model-related costs through a new Airrived capability aimed at strengthening operational controls.
Airrived has introduced Agentic Observability, an expansion of its enterprise Agentic OS that the company says provides end-to-end visibility into agents’ activity, from enterprise data ingestion through actions and business outcomes.
The product is built on Airrived’s Context Lake, which combines data and operational context from enterprise systems. According to the company, the platform can identify an agent’s creator and owner, assigned roles, authorized permissions and whether a human approval step is required before an action is taken.
The launch addresses a governance concern emerging as organizations move beyond AI copilots toward networks of agents that can reason, make decisions and take actions across business systems. Airrived said conventional software monitoring tools may not provide sufficient insight into how those systems use data, what actions they are authorized to perform or the costs associated with their use.
Agentic Observability also is designed to follow sensitive information, including personally identifiable information, payment-card information and protected health information, through agent-driven workflows, Airrived said. The company said customers can use the capability to connect AI activity to operational results, including security alerts and root-cause analysis.
The platform further tracks token and model consumption, giving organizations a way to allocate and monitor AI-related spending as deployments expand, according to Airrived. That function places the product within the growing AI FinOps market, where enterprises are seeking greater accountability for infrastructure and model costs.
“Every agent needs an owner” and each action needs defined permissions, Airrived co-founder and Chief Executive Anurag Gurtu said, describing the company’s approach to preventing autonomous systems from becoming opaque within enterprise environments.
Airrived said its Agentic OS supports AI-agent deployment and governance for cybersecurity, IT and enterprise operations, including on-premises, private-infrastructure and air-gapped environments.
