Nomadar Pursues Majority Stake in Fox Soccer Academy to Expand Youth Development Network

Nomadar Corp. has agreed to acquire a majority interest in Fox Soccer Academy, giving the company access to a youth-player network spanning the United States, United Kingdom and Austria.

The deal, whose financial terms were not disclosed, is intended to combine Fox Soccer Academy’s player-development programs with Nomadar’s high-performance training operations and its relationship with Spanish professional club Cádiz CF, according to the company.

Fox Soccer Academy has approximately 2,100 players in its network, Nomadar said. The academy was co-founded by former Premier League player Christian Fuchs and Raluca Gold-Fuchs.

Nomadar, which trades on Nasdaq under the ticker NOMA, said it expects the acquisition to support a cross-border development model connecting U.S. youth players with European coaching, training and professional-football environments.

The transaction reflects Nomadar’s effort to build an international sports platform around youth soccer development. The company characterized the academy’s model as drawing on Premier League-style training and development practices.

Completion of the agreement and the timing of the transaction were not detailed in the information provided.
